This year sees us selected in the category of ‘Promotion or Commercial Production’.
It is the third time our film production company specialising in Hotel, Resort, Destination and Tourism productions has been recognised by the Society. The awards celebrate high quality television and digital media production and the excellence of production and technical crews.
The nomination is for our Leading Hotels of the World film which captured what ‘family’ means to a multi-generation of hoteliers and professional managers. We travelled to 11 different cities in 7 different countries to interview the family members, who all had differing perspectives and stories to tell. We gave a journalist style to the interviews to ensure we were on message for the brief and this approach brought out the best in all interviewees.
The films were shot using a range of techniques, from drone cameras to full broadcast HD cameras with semi-circular tracks and a traditional clapper board. We also used the same director on all shoots to ensure consistency throughout the films.
The Annual Programme Awards Dinner for 2015 will be attended by a star studded cast of TV personalities of stage and screen from ITV and the BBC and will be presented by Nick Hewer, star of the BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’ show.
