The Project
Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc has historically been an inspirational retreat for writers and the creatively spirited, and was the elegant hotel in Scott Fitzgerald’s 'Tender is the Night'. Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc presides over the Antibes with an aura of magnificent glamour, with a distinguished guest list of royalty, dignitaries and Hollywood stars.
Our brand campaign was based around the story of a beautiful and elegant woman and her experiences with the iconic property. We created the fluid movement of the shots throughout using a ronin, which was influenced by wardrobe. This also allowed us to show the free movement of the model exploring and discovering the property.
Aerial shots demonstrate the hotel’s unique location and we were able to show how Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc is a style icon. We also produced a number of social media edits showcasing the spa, luxurious suites, and accommodation.
The Location
The Côte d'Azur has acquired international glamour, embodied in the Cannes Film Festival and summer pleasures. From the luxurious Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, set within the very heart of the Côte d'Azur, guests can discover diverse natural beauty and rich culture.
The blue skies and light attracted the world’s most famous painters. Picasso lived in Antibes and Cannes, Matisse created his masterpiece 'Chapelle Matisse' here, and Renoir’s home and studio are 20 minutes away. The legacy of the great artists is intrinsic to the region's character. Exploring the hills and hidden coast, it is easy to see how the scenery captivated these expert eyes.
The South of France is a notable yachting destination- the hotel even has a private pontoon and launch. Not only this, but guests can visit the nearby Lerins Islands, enjoying a gourmet picnic on a secluded inlet.
