New Hotel Video Production in Scotland!
Heading North: Capturing Scotland’s Dalhousie Castle with Profitroom
The Factor Fifty team are heading north to Scotland for our next major production — a creative collaboration with Profitroom at the spectacular Dalhousie Castle, just outside Edinburgh. This remarkable 12th-century castle hotel is one of Scotland’s most atmospheric luxury destinations, combining centuries of history with warm Scottish hospitality and contemporary comforts.
Our role as hotel video production specialists is to bring the story of this extraordinary property to life through cinematic storytelling — blending interviews, lifestyle sequences and brand-led visual content that highlight both the guest experience and the transformative role of technology in modern hotel marketing.
A Partnership Built on Performance
Working with Profitroom, one of the world’s leading providers of hospitality booking and marketing technology, the castle has seen significant growth in both direct bookings and online visibility. Their intelligent platform and integrated CRM tools have enabled the hotel to connect more effectively with guests, drive repeat business, and showcase its heritage-rich setting to a global audience.
For this shoot, we’ll be producing a collection of video interviews with the Profitroom team, alongside dynamic lifestyle films that celebrate the individuality of Dalhousie Castle — from its turreted towers and grand dining rooms to its serene spa and beautifully restored suites.
Bringing the Experience to Life
To authentically portray the guest journey, we’ll be working with a full creative team including professional models, hair and makeup artists, and hospitality photographers. Together, we’ll stage moments that capture the emotion, charm, and quiet luxury of a stay at Dalhousie — whether it’s afternoon tea beside a roaring fire, a romantic dinner in the dungeon restaurant, or simply waking up to the sound of birdsong beyond ancient stone walls.
Our approach combines luxury hotel videography and storytelling with a deep understanding of what drives digital engagement and conversion. Each piece of content is designed not just to inspire, but to perform — optimised for YouTube, social reels, hotel websites, and paid campaigns.
Showcasing the Future of Hospitality Marketing
This project represents a wider shift in how forward-thinking hotels are using video, photography and social media to elevate their brand presence. By pairing the art of visual storytelling with the precision of Profitroom’s technology, Dalhousie Castle stands as a prime example of how innovation and creativity can work hand-in-hand to drive measurable growth.
We’re proud to be part of this journey — capturing not just a castle, but the spirit of a brand that continues to redefine Scottish hospitality for the modern traveller.
Stay tuned as we share behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and finished films over the coming weeks.
