The luxury video and marketing agency has been briefed to create a selection of videos to capture and communicate the multifaceted nature of the Caribbean island across a variety of platforms.
Factor Fifty will be creating a promotional film to showcase the heritage and culture, natural beauty and sporting credentials of Nevis, as well as producing some destination based videos to elevate its stunning scenery and F&B offerings that will be used across web and social media. The island has always been a place where the ecology is considered important with rainforests and jungles perfect for hiking, mountain biking and cycling, hot springs and an active sea turtle project.
David Beasley, CEO of Factor Fifty, says: ‘We’re hugely excited to be working with Nevis Tourism Authority for this brief and will be showcasing the incredible island and its USPs through inspirational storytelling on video. The team will be using a range of cinematic filming techniques including 4K, Broadcast HD, Point of View and underwater to really bring the island’s essence to life.
Greg B. Phillip, Chief Executive Officer, Nevis Tourism Authority, comments: ‘The Nevis Tourism Authority is glad to engage Factor Fifty to do this important work in helping to tell the world the story of Nevis as an exclusive, accessible, green, relaxing, authentic and activity-filled destination which stands out for being the ideal Caribbean island for memorable and intimate holidays. The quality of Factor Fifty’s work and the depth of their experience will help Nevis tremendously.’
Nevis is one of the most unspoilt islands in the Caribbean with its vivid greenery, rich culture and long empty beaches. The perfect destination for those looking for a relaxing and romantic break, the island also appeals to those looking for more of an active holiday, often being referred to as The Island of Sport. In addition to its annual hosting of the triathlon and Nevis to St Kitts swim annually, the island also hosts regular Drag Races and Horse Racing events.
