Luxury Hotel Video Production: Factor Fifty’s 2025 Hospitality Film & Social Media.
A Year in Focus: Factor Fifty’s 2025 Round-Up
Crafting stories of stay, soul and splendour.
As the year draws its velvet curtain, we look back at twelve months filled with light, movement and the quiet magic that happens the moment the record button is pressed. For us at Factor Fifty, 2025 has been a year defined by remarkable collaborations, bold ideas, and the privilege of telling stories for some of the world’s most exceptional hotels.
A Year with Extraordinary Hotels
This year we deepened our relationship with luxury hospitality brands who understand that video is no longer a marketing add-on—it is the core of modern guest imagination. From cinematic hero films to agile social reels, our work has been shaped by the belief that hotels aren’t just buildings… they’re emotions with a postcode.
Resident Hotels – London Collection
We continued our social-first strategy development for Resident Hotels UK, a brand known for its brilliant locations and guest-first ethos. Without bars, restaurants or spas, our challenge was to make the story about the room, the neighbourhood, the feeling of arriving somewhere beautifully considered. We focused on:
-
Hyper-local reels
-
In-room comfort narratives
-
London lifestyle content for UK, US and Middle Eastern travellers
A fresh campaign for 2026 is now in motion.
Boutique Luxury & Heritage Properties
From the quiet stillness of country retreats to the unapologetic glamour of city landmarks, our cameras have travelled through suites dressed in marble, terraces dressed in morning light, and bedrooms wrapped in centuries-old stone. One highlight was capturing BTS content inside an 800-year-old Scottish castle, where four-poster beds, copper baths, ancient wells and Ronin 4D motion combined to create moments that felt straight out of a whispered fairytale. The Rise of Social-First Hotel Storytelling
Across every project, one trend has dominated: social video is no longer optional, it’s the language of modern hospitality. In 2025 we embraced:
-
Short-form content with luxury tactility
-
Cinematic vertical storytelling
-
Behind-the-scenes authenticity
-
User-generated content integration (still outperforming polished hero edits in engagement)
Hotels are finding that the stories filmed on smartphones by guests often carry a trust that algorithms reward. Our approach in 2025, and going into 2026, blends high production value with this new wave of intimate, unpolished charm.
Animation Meets Live Action
A growing request this year has been combining animation with live-action, especially for tenders, public information campaigns and explainer content. Our team has crafted hybrid films that balance character-led clarity with studio filming sophistication, creating pieces that are both approachable and premium.
Brooklands Hotel: Speed, Style and Storytelling
Set against the iconic heritage of British motorsport and aviation, Brooklands Hotel offered a very different rhythm to our year — one driven by precision, pace and a deep sense of place. This is a hotel where design nods to history, but the experience is unmistakably modern, making it a natural canvas for cinematic hotel video production.
Our approach at Brooklands focused on capturing movement and mood. From the geometry of the building to the quiet drama of rooms overlooking the historic track, the storytelling centred on contrasts: stillness and speed, heritage and contemporary luxury. These are the moments that resonate most with today’s digitally fluent travellers.

Predictions for 2026
As we step into the new year, three visual movements stand out:
1. Luxury Hotels Embracing Vertical Cinematography
Vertical formats will become standard, not just for social, but for paid campaigns and in-hotel digital screens.
2. AI-Assisted Storyboarding & Previs
Not the filmmaking itself, but the planning stage. Faster, clearer, more collaborative visualisation.
3. More Intimate, Guest-Centered Narratives
The era of sweeping lobby shots is giving way to micro-moments: the turn of a key, the rustle of high-thread-count linen, the hush of a view at sunrise.
A Thank You to Our Clients
To every hotelier, marketing team and creative partner who trusted us to shape their visual identity, thank you. Your spaces, stories and ambitions have given us frames worth capturing and worlds worth sharing.
Here’s to 2026
May the coming year bring new openings, new destinations, and new ways to tell stories that linger longer than the stay itself.
From all of us at Factor Fifty,
Merry Christmas and a beautifully filmed New Year.
