The “life is perfect sometimes” campaign leverages the emotional power of storytelling through film and through harnessing the power of poetry. The internet is full of travel based quotes and poetry which can capture the joy of a destination or a moment and inspire people to take a journey.
Video and moving image are the most effective ways to communicate the personality of the resort and instil the sense of place. We also supported the striking visuals with a poem we selected that focused around the experiences, musings to get viewers dreaming about their next long journey. The lines and stanzas of this poem; Life is perfect sometimes,” we felt were the most evocative of the destination and of the guest experience on property. The video brings to life moments of perfection between a couple, helps define guest experiences with the destination and inspires reflection.
The video was shot on location working to a storyboard that was planned to compliment the beautiful poetry. We used a range of aerial and 4k shots to produce the film and it was edited using Avid media Composer.
