Why Hotel Videographers Are Essential for Capturing Unique Insights Across Properties!
As seasoned hotel videographers and hotel video producers with over 16 years of experience, we’ve had the privilege of creating hundreds of hotel brand videos, immersive 360-degree hotel experiences, and thousands of video-rich social media content pieces. Our work spans not only high-impact promotional content but also essential videos for conference support and internal communications across major hotel groups. Among our commissions, one project stands out as a unique opportunity to travel across 11 countries, interviewing the management and staff of both family-owned luxury hotels and larger group properties. Our goal was to uncover what makes these hotels exceptional and how they consistently achieve higher occupancy rates than their peers.

This video series provided valuable insights that were shared across the group’s portfolio, allowing other properties within the collection to adopt and adapt the best practices uncovered. Our approach combined a two-camera setup for the interviews, with one camera fixed on a 90-degree track to create a continuous, cinematic movement for a movie-style look. The second camera was positioned over the interviewer’s shoulder, capturing every nuanced reaction and ensuring the authenticity of the interviews was preserved. To reinforce the key messages, we filmed dynamic cutaways at each property, visually emphasising the unique aspects that each hotel brought to the guest experience.
The end result was a series of videos that functioned as both training material and a source of inspiration, empowering hotels within the group to enhance their guest relations by learning from successful examples within their network. Projects like these not only highlight our expertise as hotel video producers but also underscore the impact of video in transforming internal culture and boosting guest satisfaction across entire hotel portfolios.
